L’arte della gioia

Set in early 20th-century Sicily, Modesta is an orphan girl with a thirst for knowledge, love and freedom. She becomes the protégée of the Mother Superior at the convent and gains access to the villa of the powerful Brandiforti family. There, she embarks on a journey of growth and self-determination, challenging the societal conventions imposed on her.
